d of community medicine.He was consultant ICDS for over 25 years, an honorary chief editor IJCM , secretary general IAPSM for 9 years.He has to his credit 182 scientific papers in national & international journals of repute & served on editorial boards of several scientific journals. He retired as deputy director general TA (medical) with a meritorious award . He was recipient of Dhanwantri oration award, Harcharan singh oration award & prestigious ICMR (amrut modi ) award for research on maternal & child health. Also served as president IAPSM (2010-11).
